As we continue to combat the excessive amount of landfill waste that fast fashion has created, we are committed to working under a circular fashion model—a system that reuses and recirculates products and materials. Help us enhance our social and environmental impact by sending us your worn and used shoes.

The goal we set in 2018 was to collect a minimum of 5,000 pairs of shoes by June of 2020 to provide to Soles4Souls.

Thanks to you, we met our goal, having collected and diverted 5,013 pairs from landfills. We look forward to scaling this initiative even further with you.

What is the 2020 commitment to circular fashion?
The Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) has called on fashion brands and retailers like Nisolo to sign a commitment to publically share objectives for 2020 that contribute to and increase the circularity of their goods. In other words, we’ve made a commitment to reduce the environmental impact of footwear by collecting used shoes when you no longer want them. Our goal is to collect at least 5,000 pairs of shoes by year end 2020, which we will distribute to our partner organization, Soles4Souls (S4S).

What is Soles4Souls (S4S)?
S4S is a Nashville based non-profit whose mission is to create sustainable jobs and provide relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.

How does sending in my used shoes create positive social impact?
We give your used shoes to S4S who then distributes them to micro-enterprise programs in developing countries such as Haiti, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Moldova and other countries in Africa (video). The micro-enterprise participants clean and recondition the shoes to sell locally. These programs provide employment opportunities to people who would like to start their own shoe business but lack the capital to do so, and is an affordable source of shoes for the underserved local population. Shoes in very poor condition are sent to recyclers.

How does sending my used shoes reduce my impact on the environment?
When sent to a landfill, shoes can take many years to decompose. When you send us your used shoes you extend the product’s life and create additional income for micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Where should I donate my used clothes to make sure they have the best impact possible and are disposed of responsibly?
We recommend you send your gently used clothing to people you know and/or to organizations you trust. Try to never throw them out in the garbage, even if they are beyond use. Most Goodwill and Salvation Army donation sites participate in textile recycling, which converts your used clothing into things like insulation.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! But you will need to to get this documentation from Sole4Souls directly. Please visit http://soles4souls.org/get-involved/give-money/request-a-tax-receipt/ and fill out the requested information!

Where can I see if my shoes were delivered?
When you select a shipping carrier, be sure to keep a record of your tracking information. Enter that information in the carrier’s respective website to locate your shipment.

How long does it take for my shoes to arrive to you?
Depending on the shipping carrier you select, it can take 5-8 business days for us to receive your shoes.

What if my donation is lost in the mail?
Please send us an email directly with your tracking number to reclamation@nisolo.com. We are not responsible for any lost packages, however we’re happy to help if we can.

How many shoes can I send?
You can send us as many pairs as you’d like!

Do you accept international donations?
We do not at this time. Sorry!

Can I set up my donation over the phone?
All shoe donations must be processed through this web form.

I live in a U.S. territory outside of the continental U.S. Can I send my shoes?
Sure! However, we are not responsible for any lost packages.

If I am in the Nashville area, can I drop off my shoes at your showroom location?
Absolutely! Our Showroom is open M-F 10-5:30pm CST, Saturday 11-5pm CST and Sunday 1-5pm CST.

Why do I need to print out a form to include in my box?
We want to ensure you receive your code once your shoes arrive. Once we match your form to our records, you'll receive a discount code in your inbox.

When will I receive my discount code?
Our Customer Experience team will be in touch within 7 business days of receiving your shoes with a unique discount code for you to use towards a future purchase.

How many discount codes can I receive?
You will receive 1 code per pair of shoes. For example, if you donate 3 pairs of shoes you will receive 3 separate discount codes.

Can the code be combined with another discount?

This discount code cannot combined with other discounts or other codes.

Is there a purchase minimum?
Yes, your discount code is valid on orders of $125 or more. Some exclusions apply including our shoe care items, masks, and gift cards.

Can the discount code be used on accessories or sale items?
Absolutely! You can use your $40 code sitewide, as long as you meet the $125 minimum purchase.

Can the code be used on previous purchases?
No, the $40 coupon code is only valid on orders placed after you receive the code.

Can I give my discount code to a friend?
Sure!

Does the discount code expire?
The discount code is valid for 90 days from the date you receive the code.

If I drop off my shoes in person at your showroom, do I receive my discount immediately?
Yes! You can drop off a pair of shoes and use your $40 discount code for a purchase on the spot.

Can I donate any shoes from any brand? Do they have to be in a certain condition?
Yep! Any brand and any condition, we will take them.
What happens if I forget to include a form with my shoes?
We will hold your shoes for 14 business days. If you don't reach out to claim your shoes for the discount code within that time frame they will be sent off to Soles4Souls and the $40 off coupon code will not be valid.
