"I love these sandals. They're like a dressier version of a Birkenstock, but also comfier-no break in required. I get compliments on them all the time. Great for the Price if you have a Seam Ripper

"The reviews are 100% true! There is Velcro, but the straps are sewn down, which seems ridiculous. They do. make fart noises HOWEVER, it is also true that you can easily pick out the stitches and use them! So at the sale price, it is a completely reasonable purchase - if you know how to use a seam ripper. I would give them five stars if they only admitted that this was a Design flaw or that they are seconds or whatever because it’s kind of ridiculous to have to pick out stitches to wear them. I do recommend them at this price if you don’t mind picking out the stitches. Just insert the seam ripper between the straps until you free them all."

"I took the advice of another reviewer and took a seam ripper to the threads attaching the straps. Worked beautifully with no visible evidence. Once I did that, I was able to adjust the straps with the Velcro and they were perfect! Zero break-in time, the bone color is super versatile. I've been wearing them every day since and coming back to buy them in black. 4 stars because I had to spend about 20 minutes figuring out the best way to remove the string, but 5/5 once that was done."
