Responsibilities
- Provide an unmatched customer experience through knowledge of our products, and engaging/connecting with guests and shoppers.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for shoppers to ask questions, and learn about our products and brand.
- Maintain knowledge of the pricing, sizing/fit, comfort, function, and styling of our products to drive clienteling.
- Keep a pulse on new arrivals, promotions, pricing, store policies and visual standards.
- Actively supervise the sales floor, maintaining quality and efficiency of transactions, including sales, returns, fittings, and more.
- Communicate inventory needs to Store Lead/Manager to increase overall customer experience.
- Assist in the execution and maintenance of visual directives and standards, including but not limited to merchandise presentation, housekeeping, and product replenishment.
- Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives as it relates to performance, productivity, efficiency, and customer experience standards.
- Utilize Shopify POS system to check out guests and inform them of SMS loyalty program.
- Creates reinforcement of purchasing decisions at checkout while providing additional options that compliment their purchase.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns, provide support, and, when necessary, proactively communicate with Store Lead/Manager to ensure that recurring issues are handled at the core; escalate immediate concerns when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a customer-facing, retail role required.
- Great interpersonal skills, a positive and friendly approach, and the ability to thrive and meet customer experience demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, exceptional communicator.
- Must have basic POS/Computer/Cash Wrap skills with an ability to learn and/or adapt quickly to new retail technology.
- Strong organizer with the ability to multitask, set priorities and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. Also involves stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation: $17.68/hour
Timing: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Only candidates who pass through to the interview round will be contacted. The goal hire date for this role is Q4 2022.
