Responsibilities

E-Commerce

  • Develop and manage  iteration of our e-commerce strategic roadmap including scoping, prioritization, execution and measurement.
  • Maximize online sales through constant testing, site optimization, UI/UX and improving online customer experience.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing to present brand and product stories online in a compelling way that delivers a rich brand experience to the consumer and integrates with other brand channel messaging.
  • A/B Test website creative, layout, and offers to better understand and optimize our website.
  • Manage outside agency partners for design, development, and SEO (search engine optimization). 
  • Develop onsite lead generation, including developing strategies to drive “shallow conversions”, e.g., sampling, quizzes, etc.
  • Be the expert on e-commerce best practices and competitors to gain an understanding of trending behaviors in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to grow engagement, revenue and to optimize the overall customer experience.

CRM (Email/SMS)

  • Apply a data-driven approach to identify, evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives that increase engagement and optimize lifetime value.
  • Own large email marketing channel, including batch, lifecycle programs, triggered, and transactional emails.
  • Spearhead the growth of a customer-centric SMS strategy that enables Marketing and CX to improve the customer journey.
  • Conceptualize, build, and iterate on a best-in-class loyalty program and drive enrollment, engagement and retention/reactivation of our customers.
  • Apply learnings from consumer-level data and behavior to develop segmented audience-based campaigns, journeys and automations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years e-commerce and marketing experience, primarily in D2C or start-up environments.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent life experience
  • Proven achievement in creating data-driven strategies and solutions to support increases in conversion, AOV and LTV business objectives.
  • Strategic, analytical and creative thinker.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the rigor and discipline to build the business and creative competencies that will allow us to stand out in the market.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple functions in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and thirst for collaboration
  • Strong grasp of business strategy and the ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Able to maintain high standard of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Understanding of sustainable fashion, ethical fashion, and/or social enterprise preferred
