Key Responsibilities

The Head of Growth/Acquisition will lead acquisition marketing efforts (strategy and execution) to drive profitable growth across all revenue channels. They will lead the digital acquisition team towards relentless optimization of channel performance, creating a collaborative, innovative and entrepreneurial team spirit to achieve business results.

Essential Functions

  • Drive Paid Marketing strategy and growth.
  • Direct and manage all digital acquisition marketing across all channels, generating performance that meets or exceeds revenue and ROI goals.
  • Lead the development of a best in class acquisition team, creating and executing a vision to generate demand and profitable growth. Create a team-first attitude to maximize performance. Ability to delegate effectively and leverage strength of contributors a must.
  • Lead and develop all affiliate and partner acquisition marketing to optimize short- and long-term impact. (Deal sites, Content Bloggers, influencers etc.)
  • Lead and manage Paid Marketing and Paid Social agencies.
  • Drive analysis and optimization across all marketing programs to track ROI and areas for new investments, including new and emerging channels as well as trending on media investments
  • Create and direct influencer, celeb and ambassador program.
  • Evaluate Podcast and Direct Mail opportunities.
  • Define the key initiatives and activities that drive revenue with a deep understanding of business performance, setting the right targets, KPIs and processes, and ensuring resources are identified/optimized to deliver results.
  • Supervise, mentor, and participate in career development of the marketing team.
  • Bring continuous improvement to the organization and team, leveraging best practice and pioneering new methods and approaches

Professional Experience/Qualification

  • 7+ years in Growth/Acquisition marketing.
  • Significant participation of direct ownership of a $20 million or greater P&L and/or 100%+ CAGR growth rate.  
  • Deep understanding of Return on Investment Spend.
  • Heavy state of the art industry growth hacking and acquisition knowledge.
  • Proven track record as a leader and builder of self-organized teams in which employees are encouraged to make decisions and have the ability to thrive and be creative, finding conditions that allow them to develop into high-performing professionals
  • Success driving business results across channels, driving scalable growth. Deep knowledge and experience with digital/online channels independently and ability to bring connects across channels to yield optimal results.
  • Strong analytical acumen with data-driven view of performance, ability to dig deep into details that explain growth drivers, bring an intellectual curiosity to challenge hypotheses and results, and have the courage to ask the hard questions in order to optimize impacts across channels to improve performance for the whole organization.  
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the rigor and discipline to build the business and creative competencies that will allow us to stand out in the market.
  • Track record of success in hiring, managing & developing talent to be high-performing and high-committed team
  • Proven track record managing a budget. Strong financial acumen.
  • Deep agency management experience.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Compensation: This individual will receive a competitive base salary, bonus and equity.
